23 January 2024 - K-pop superstar SHINee Minho has been at the heart of the action as the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) continue in the Gangwon Province of South Korea.

Minho, a member of the band SHINee, is one of the Gangwon 2024 Olympic Friends. These are internationally recognised figures named by the International Olympic
Committee to help inspire young people to aspire to the Olympic values and take part in sport.

Minho was at the Alpensia Sliding Centre, which was at the heart of the action on day four at the Winter YOG, with luge, bobsleigh and skeleton medal events taking place
throughout the day. In December, Minho took part in the Torch Tour in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do.

Gangwon 2024 runs until 1 February, with more than 1,800 athletes from 78 NOCs taking part. The Winter Youth Olympic Games is filmed for live television and digital streaming on the Olympic Channel via Olympics.com and the Olympics app, with full session replays and highlights also available.
