London, United Kingdom, 29 September 2023: Genesis has won its first accolade at the BusinessCar Awards, with the brand’s GV70 range taking home Best Premium Large SUV 2023. Recognising excellence in the automotive fleet sector, the BusinessCar awards are an established event in the fleet manager’s calendar.
The judging panel, which holds decades of knowledge and insight into the corporate and fleet world, praised the GV70 range for its stylish looks, premium feel and competitive pricing.
“It’s a highly competitive market targeting the company car driver. We are delighted that the GV70 range has been recognised a solid package by such a high calibre of judging panel, especially this early into our journey,” commented Jonny Miller, Head of Sales at Genesis Motor UK.
“Genesis GV70 covers all fleet bases with the choice of petrol, diesel, and even electric power. Outside, the modern styling attracts positive comments from other drivers,” commented Martyn Collins, editor at BusinessCar. “Inside it has a stylish, well-equipped, and high-quality interior, with a premium feel. Yet compared to rivals, Genesis pricing is competitive.”
GV70 initially launched in 2021 with petrol and diesel powertrains with an all-electric version introduced in late 2022. Pricing starts at £42,370 for the 2.2 8AT AWD diesel and at £42,870 for the 2.5 8AT AWD Petrol. For Electrified GV70, prices start at £65,105 for the 180 KW + 180 KW dual motor all-electric model.
