London, Thursday 21 April: The first all-electric model from Genesis, the GV60, has today made its public debut at Salon Prive, London. The debut comes as Genesis confirms that the first customer deliveries will start from Monday 6 June with those customers that have pre-ordered being the first to get the striking GV60 on to UK roads.
Taking place at Royal Hospital Chelsea this week, Salon Privé is one of the world’s most exclusive and luxurious automotive events in the European calendar and promises to draw huge crowds over the three-day event. GV60’s debut signalled the opening of the luxury car event and a significant moment for the brand as it unveils its first all-electric car in Europe.
GV60 was unveiled on the Genesis stand by European Managing Director Dominique Boesch.
“Salon Privé is one of the most exclusive events in Europe and so for us it was a perfect fit for GV60 to make its European debut” said Boesch. “Since launching in Europe less than a year ago, it is a huge honour to headline the first day of this amazing event and we are so proud to kick off our journey to electrification here at Salon Privé with GV60.”

GV60 is available in three models in the UK:
- Premium; a single motor RWD 168kW model
- Sport; a 160 kW + 74kW dual motor, AWD model
- Sport Plus; a 160kW + 160kW AWD performance variant with Drift and Boost modes
All feature a 77.4kWh battery, which can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes using the bespoke electric global modular platform (E-GMP).
Pre-orders for GV60 can be made via https://www.genesis.com/uk/en/shop/pre-order-gv60.html on a desktop, tablet or mobile device. Customers are able to explore the new GV60, select their preferred option (either Premium, Sport or Sport Plus) and secure their vehicle by placing a fully refundable £1,000 deposit.
