As anticipation builds for the start of March Madness, adidas debuted a new film that positions competition as a positive aspect of sport — one that can improve the game for everyone.
Executive produced by WNBA icon and adidas President of Women’s Basketball, Candace Parker, the film is the latest chapter of the brand’s global campaign, You Got This. Centered around the campaign’s belief that we all need someone to make us believe, the film taps the brand’s women’s basketball roster to show that even competitors can leverage their tenacity and shared respect for the sport to improve their own game and elevate the game as a whole.
"adidas and I are thrilled to debut the latest chapter of the 'You Got This' campaign, celebrating the power of positivity in sport,” says Candace Parker, President of adidas Women’s Basketball and Executive Producer of the film. “This chapter is a call to action to show that competition and support can co-exist, making both the individual and the game stronger.”
To bring the film to life, Parker assembled the brand’s roster of rookie and veteran players, including Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Aaliyah Edwards, Aliyah Boston, Nneka Ogwumike, and Satou Sabally, the brand’s most recent signing, for a day of training and friendly competition.
Despite typically competing as opponents, each player can be seen hyping each other up and tapping into each other’s strengths to forward their own game through a series of on-court interactions. The film gives a glimpse into the sisterhood that’s at the core of not just adidas Women’s Basketball but the sport as a whole.
“I’m incredibly proud of these women, who go head-to-head on the court but stand together as one adidas family,” said Parker. “By releasing this film ahead of one of the biggest stages in basketball, we’re offering a glimpse into the brand’s vision—showing what’s possible when women are given the visibility, support, and belief to truly own their moment.”

The film was directed by Savanah Leaf with Candace Parker overseeing creative. It will run throughout this year’s women’s March Madness competition as part of adidas’ continued investment in the future of women’s sports and women’s basketball.
In an unprecedented era of the women’s game, adidas is proud to celebrate its partners and all the student-athletes in this year’s tournament who are elevating the sport to new heights. Find out more at adidas.com/yougotthis.
