Johannesburg welcomes the Lamborghini Temerario 920 CV of Electrifying Performance

The all-new “Fuoricalsse” debuts at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Johannesburg, South Africa – 14 March 2025– Automobili Lamborghini proudly introduced the all-new Temerario[1] during a special event hosted by Lamborghini Johannesburg at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. Guests assembled at the iconic Grand Prix Circuit for the highly anticipated unveiling of Lamborghini’s latest high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV). Attendees experienced firsthand the cutting-edge design, advanced technology, and exceptional performance that define the Temerario as a true ‘fuoriclasse’—outstanding and in a league of its own.

The presentation featured key addresses from EMEA Director Francesco Cresci and Temerario Product Line Director Paolo Racchetti. Speaking at the launch, Cresci stated: “South Africa is an exciting and rapidly growing market for Automobili Lamborghini, and we are thrilled to introduce the Temerario in Johannesburg. This super sports car sets a new benchmark in power, performance, and unmistakable Lamborghini presence—qualities our clients have been eagerly anticipating.”

Equipped with a revolutionary twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain, the Temerario redefines performance, driving dynamics, and comfort. It is the second model in Lamborghini’s HPEV range to enter the Middle East and Africa market, following the debut of the Revuelto[2]. With the recent launch of the Urus SE[3], the Temerario marks the completion of Sant’Agata Bolognese’s hybrid transformation.

Designed with an innovative multi-technology aluminum spaceframe engineered to withstand the enhanced demands of its hybrid power unit, the Temerario delivers a formidable 920 CV. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 343 km/h. Notably, it features the only production super sports car engine capable of revving up to an astonishing 10,000 rpm.

Guests at the event also had the exclusive opportunity to explore the Temerario’s bold and revolutionary design. Lamborghini specialists were on-site to guide attendees through the limitless customization options available via the Ad Personam program, which offers over 400 exterior colors, personalized interior choices, and bespoke trim selections—ensuring each Temerario is as unique as its owner.
