Systems Components is the meeting place for the supplier industry

November 9 to 15, 2025 in Hanover, Germany - B2B marketplace part of world's leading trade fair Agritechnica - Leading theme “Touch Smart Efficiency” - Focus: Environment and safety, innovative & traditional drive technologies, networking and automation, digital services in Halls 15, 16 and 17

(DLG). The Systems & Components event is the B2B marketplace for the international agricultural machinery supply industry and the off-highway sector. The event takes place in Hanover, Germany, November 9 to 15, 2025 and is part of Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. Exhibitors will be presenting innovations in vehicle electronics, agricultural electronics, drive technology, hydraulics, engines, cabs and power lifts as well as spare and wear parts.

Under the guiding theme of “Touch Smart Efficiency”, the Systems & Components feature at Agritechnica will present proven and future supplier technology for agricultural machinery and the off-highway sector. The technical program of System & Components will be exploring key topics like environment and safety, innovative and traditional drive technologies, networking and automation as well as digital services. Organized by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), the trade fair is aimed at OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), development engineers, purchasing managers, system integrators, R&D (Research & Development) and spare parts managers.

Systems & Components has established itself as the leading meeting place for the international supplier industry for the off-highway sector, which includes farm equipment. The trade fair showcases the latest developments and innovations in the field of components for agricultural machinery and related sectors, making it the ideal complement to the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, Agritechnica. Industry leaders, medium-sized companies and start-ups will present their expertise and innovations in the fields of engines, electronics, drive technology, hydraulics, cabs and power lifts as well as spare and wear parts. “2025 is off to a good start. We have been met with a very positive response to the new guiding theme ‘Touch Smart Efficiency’ as well as the wide range of products and services of Systems & Components,” says Petra Kaiser, Brand Manager of Systems & Components.

Guiding theme “Touch smart Efficiency”

Under the guiding theme of “Touch smart Efficiency”, System & Components 2025 offers insights into the new possibilities of artificial intelligence and digitalization for the supplier industry. For example, new operating concepts for mobile machinery can be implemented using joystick control, touchscreens and the networking of all machine components. The next development stage of semi-autonomous vehicle machinery for both agriculture and construction will also be on display at System & Components 2025. The robustness and reliability of the engines are the top priority. Lightweight construction is also increasingly the focus of developments. Efficiency, resource conservation and service life play an important role. From clean Stage V diesel engines to production-ready applications of hybridized and fully electric powertrains: At the exhibition grounds in Hanover, original equipment manufacturers, developers and engineers from the off-highway sectors can select the optimal combination of conventional and electric components for their application.

Specialist information, talks and discussions at the Expert Stage

The guiding theme will also shape the technical discussions among manufacturers, engineers and other international experts at the “Expert Stage” of the System & Components exhibition. With a wide range of insights into current topics in the supplier industry, the technical program covers:

  • How to increase productivity while reducing the ecological footprint is explored in the topic “safety and environment”. With the transition to the hydrogen economy and the growth in e-mobility, circular value creation is playing an increasingly important role in the international off-highway markets. Design, material selection and new marketing strategies are driving innovation along the entire value chain.
  • The topic “Innovative & traditional drive technologies” looks beyond performance and explores the suitability of various drive concepts for a range of applications and off-highway machines. The focus is on increasing productivity and reduce the ecological footprint. Alternative drive technologies as well as optimized traditional diesel drives, which now equips the latest generation of mobile machinery, make a significant contribution.
  • The development of autonomous work machines is a key aim of the off-highway sector. How to reach the next level of autonomous control is one of the central questions in the area of “networking and automation”. The starting point is powerful assistance systems for mobile machinery that ensure greater safety and efficiency on fields and construction sites.
  • “Digital Services” for the off-highway markets now focus on collecting operating data with subsequent evaluation and analysis that allow conclusions about the performance and efficiency of commercial vehicles and mobile machinery. Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance are key topics. The information obtained using diagnostic apps also has great potential in engineering, sales and after-sales service. Another focus of “Digital Services” is the topic of cybersecurity in the supply sector.

As part of the Young Professionals Day (Friday, November 14, 2025), young engineers can look forward to exclusive talks at the Expert Stage “System & Components” presenting perspectives and tips for career planning as well as networking opportunities.

“System & Components Trophy - Engineers' Choice”

At Agritechnica 2025, the DLG will once again award the “System & Components Trophy - Engineers' Choice” - the international award scheme for components and systems in the agricultural and off-highway sector. The award is conferred to agricultural technology development engineers for innovations with new approaches that can make a significant contribution to operation. The winners of the competition will be announced at the Systems & Component exhibition in Hanover. Applications from exhibitors can be submitted from May 2025.
