Less than 100 days until the Olympics 2024 will be kicked off, Allianz France proudly demonstrates its global partnership with the Olympic & Paralympic Movements in the French capital.

May 08, 2024 – The Neptune Tower, which is home to one of the offices of Allianz France, has been decked out in athletic gear in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With a gigantesque banner covering more than 3,000m2, Typhaine Soldé, French Paralympian and member of Team Allianz, is featured in the middle of a jump.

Over a dozen rope access technicians worked in shifts for two weeks to attach the vast picture to the Neptune Tower. It is now displaying the colors of Paris 2024 to viewers close and far.

With this project, Allianz France again showcases the power behind the Games and its unifying aspect, bringing its 3600 employees and visitors from the La Défense together.

Ahead of Paris 2024, other buildings have been decorated with posters showing athletes in action. A recently added one at the Opéra Place showcases a rhythmic gymnastics athlete doing a handstand on the Alexandre III bridge.

When it comes to demonstrating the importance of the Games and spreading the enthusiasm in the city, Allianz France has been active in the past, too: In 2012 for example, the Neptune Tower was dressed up by Allianz showcasing French athletes competing at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. At the time, Allianz was insurer and partner of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), a partnership that has now become global.

"We are proud to be a global partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements. This impressive artwork by our colleagues from Allianz France, installed on the Allianz France Neptune Tower reflects our enthusiasm and pride in supporting this global celebration of sport and bringing people around the world together in a peaceful way”, says Eike Bürgel, Global Head of Olympic & Paralympic Program at Allianz.

The oversized banner will be visible during both the Olympic and Paralympic Games until mid- September.
